How long will it take to make my cutting board?
Several factors go into this, including size of the cutting board and species of wood, however, we aim to have your final product completed within 10-14 days.
Can I create a custom design?
Yes! This is our specialty and is what we love doing most of all. We truly enjoy working with our customers and customizing pieces specifically for a space within their homes. Need help with a design? We are happy to assist!
Do you have boards available for immediate purchase?
We generally have a small number of cutting boards and coasters available for direct purchase.
What size cutting boards are available?
Generally, our small cutting boards are 16'' x 12'' and approximately 1 inch thick, while larger boards tend to be around 20'' x 14'' or 24'' x 16'' and up to 2 inches in thickness. As each board is uniquely handcrafted, all dimensions can be customized depending on your specific needs.
How do I care for my cutting board?
Your cutting board has been finished with a plant-based, vegan-friendly, food-grade oil and wax. We use only Walrus Oil® products because we believe they make the absolute best products and we love their environmentally friendly mission. With good care, your cutting board should last for many years. After each use, wash your cutting board with warm water and soap and allow to dry. Apply a thin layer of food-grade oil and allow to soak in for 2-3 hours. Apply a small amount of food-grade wax and buff in a circular motion.
Other than cutting boards, what can you make?
We specialize in a variety of other products, including custom cheese and charcuterie boards, coasters, lazy Susans, custom frames, and other pieces. We would be happy to help you design and craft the perfect piece for your home or as a gift.
